Blink Twice is back!

There’s this sticker I’ve seen pasted around the city in various places: the subway, on metal posts, outside of delis. My naive brain had always read the sticker’s catchphrase as “Who’s good is in you?” – an existential question that would prompt passersby to consider their upbringing or perhaps examine their corrupted moral compasses. I never stopped to do a double take or to ensure that I had read the catchphrase correctly. It was only after scrolling past an image of a random New Yorker posing in front of the sticker on Instagram that I realized it actually said “Whose goo is in you?” Disappointing but hardly surprising.

Since returning to New York after a year-long teaching stint in the Canary Islands, my life has been full of revelations like this one. Slightly sobering and perverse, but useful nonetheless.
